Exam results - Need Help?

Students will be aware that the A-level results are available on Thursday August 14 and GCSE results on Thursday August 21.
Whatever your results are, experts will be on hand to give out invaluable one-to-one advice and support when and where it is needed.
Personal Advisers from the borough's Connexions Service will be available at schools and colleges on results days to offer all the information, advice and guidance you may need to help and support you in deciding what your next steps could be.
If you don't want to speak to a Personal Adviser on the day you can visit one of the borough's two Connexions Centres. The Connexions Centres are 'one-stop shops' entirely dedicated to the needs of young people aged between 13 and 19.

Wigan Council's Cabinet Member for Lifelong Learning Cllr Brian Wilson said: "We wish everyone the best of luck with their exam results. Our young people deserve only the very best help and advice at this time and that's exactly what the Connexions Service offers.
"Whether you have got higher grades than you expected or are disappointed with your results you don't have to try and work out your next step on your own.
