From 1st April 2006, Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust introduced
Lifestyle, a new membership scheme.
You will need a Lifestyle card to book any activity at one of our
leisure centres or pools. This includes booking courts, swimming lessons
and classes.
For just £1.50 per year you can join the biggest health and fitness club
in the borough and be entitled to big discounts. Or, if you just want to
book facilities, you can join for FREE.
Discounts include:
- Up to 50%* off various activities
including Racquet Sports, Profiles Gym and Golf
- FREE swimming for 16 and under and 60+
- Advanced booking capability (7 days rather than 5 days)**

Who can have a Lifestyle card?
Membership is open to everyone. Customers will be able to join the
scheme at any point during the year.
How do you apply for a Lifestyle card?
Applying couldn’t be simpler, either download an application form from
the relevant membership category or pick up a form from your local
leisure centre, fill it in and then hand it to a member of staff at
reception.
If you wish to upgrade your card to take advantage of the many discounts
and benefits on offer, simply take your £1.50 along with your completed
application form and proof of ID if required. See membership categories

Does this affect the LINC scheme?
Yes, Lifestyle has replaced LINC. Existing and improved discounts will
be available with the new Lifestyle scheme.
Membership Categories
Memberships are categorised based on age. They are: ages
0-16,
17-21,
22-59,
60+
