Artists

Artists and guests performing at forthcoming Festivals will appear here in due course.

History
The history of fabulous artists who have appeared in past Festivals is a distinguished Who's Who of the jazz world. Artists from over 30 countries have graced our venues, with every conceivable style to cater for all tastes.

One of our aims is to reflect the ever-expanding boundaries of jazz music, and we achieve this by showcasing many new talents and sub-genres, so whether your particular slant on jazz is traditional or Big Band, or whether you prefer contemporary and progressive fusion, your appetite will be satisfied with the array of artists who appear at our festivals.

A selection of artists and groups who have appeared in recent years are:
James Morrison, the BBC Big Band, Georgie Fame, Manhattan Transfer, Shakatak, Alan Price, The Count Basie Orchestra, Eric Delaney, Scott Hamilton, and not forgetting our own wonderful Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra.
