Explore Lifelong Learning
At Wigan Libraries we believe in lifelong
learning, so whether you’re a first-time surfer (of the internet!), a
budding florist or just keen to brush up on your maths and English
skills, we’re here to help!
With 17 libraries and 3 mobiles operating throughout the borough, we’re

offer lots of opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and
have fun along the way! You’ll be spoilt for choice when deciding what
courses you would like to join us on, so why not browse through our list

Is it for me?
We know how hard it can be to find the time to start learning new skills
or improve those we already have.
Whether you’re bringing up a family on your own, working shifts or just
looking for your big career break, then learning at your library is
ideal.
It’s never too late to get back into learning, and if things are getting
in your way, or getting you down, learning new skills is a great way to
improve everything, from your own confidence to your job prospects. Of
course, learning new skills can also help you to progress to further
learning opportunities, including taking more advanced courses for your
chosen area(s) of study.
