We are pleased to offer a summer programme of Heritage Cemetery Walks in the Leigh and Wigan Areas. Experienced Local Historian Tony Ashcroft will lead the walks and ensure that anything of historical interest or folklore will be pointed out along the way…a great way to get out and about and discover who is buried in your local cemetery. During the Second World War everybody had a part to play in the war effort, sharing the dangers and the hardship. Do you remember what it was like living on the home front during World War Two? LEARN TO READ THE BIBLE EFFECTIVELY, 7:15 pm - 8:45 pm
The History Shop, Rodney Street, Wigan.
A 12 week course to give confidence in reading the Bible as well as providing stimulating thought for those already familiar with it. A popular course previously held for several years at Wigan tech. Organised by the Wigan Christadelphian Church (there will be no requests for money, pressure to 'join' or be 'saved' just friendly and informal study). All welcome.
