competition this September? Then get booked in for the Haigh Triathlon.
The annual Triathlon will take place at Haigh Country Park on September

a go. Absolute beginners are welcome.
Eric Bradbury, Wigan Council’s Outdoor Education Team Manager, said:
“The Haigh Triathlon is a key date towards the end of our summer
calendar of activities, and has always been really popular.
“It’s always a really fun day and the competitive element is very good
natured.
“It’s a great event for young people and their friends to come along and
try something new. You don’t need any experience, just come along and
give it a go.”
Teams will consist of three young people in one of the following
categories:
Young Women aged 11 – 14
Young Women aged 15+
