Bullying
is a problem that affects many young people, with children’s charity,
Childline, reporting that over 30,000 young people contact them about
the issue every year.
It isn’t just the reserve of your stereotypical ‘School Bully’, either.
Yes, verbal and physical abuse in schools and colleges still exists, but
the same can also happen outside school, at work and even on the
internet.
In this mini-section of The LINC Online, you’ll find articles with tips
on what to do if you’re being bullied and the personal experiences of
other young people who’ve been through it.
You’ll also find helpline numbers and links to websites that can help
you cope, get the bullying stopped and provide support on some of the
issues you may be struggling with as a result of bullying, such as
self-harm.
Check out the boxes on the right of this page to read more, and if you
have a bullying experience you want to share with us (you can remain
anonymous if you want!), or want to pass on your own tips and advice,
get in touch with us at
